Students pay tuition, room and board at Western and in exchange study at one of more than 300 universities around the world while an international student takes their place at WCSU. Students make their own travel arrangements.

In terms of courses, students have several choices:

  • Meet with department chair to seek approval of major courses.
  • Meet with department chair in appropriate discipline to seek approval for general education courses.
  • Select free electives if your program allows for that flexibility.

In order to be eligible to study abroad, students need to have been matriculated at Western for two semesters and have a minimum 2.75 GPA. When you have completed your entire ISEP application, you will need to schedule a half-hour interview with the ISEP Coordinator.
