WCSU PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
The future could not be any more promising than it is now at Western Connecticut State University. Last fall, we saw the largest number of freshmen entering the campus gates in several years. The increase in returning students is also a wonderful sign of positive and exciting times ahead. Welcome back!
To our first-year students, you will have an exciting four years here. There may be challenges, but we know you’re up to the task. Your quest to seek a university degree is a goal that many aspire to. Our faculty, staff, and administration are all here to support you. I have no doubt you will build a future in your chosen career and become a thriving community member.
As the new President (Interim), I took the first semester to conduct an extensive listening tour. I’ve learned so much about the university, and I look forward to supporting you with an even greater, more robust institution. I believe our excellent professors, labs, internships, athletics, and campus life will solidify your future upon graduation and help you achieve your dreams.
My passion and life goals are to work with faculty, staff, and leadership to forge the best path forward for all students so they can take their experiences and friendships into the future.
I look forward to seeing you on campus! Please say hello, and I’d like to meet with you and learn about your life’s passions. You are our world’s future; aim high, care deeply for others, and I know you will succeed.
