(BACB\u00ae), to prepare students for the national certification examinations sponsored by the BACB. All six courses are offered online and can be completed in 15 months to earn the certificate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times,serif; font-size: 12pt;\">CERTIFICATE IN APPLIED BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times,serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The Behavior Analyst Certification Board\u00ae, Inc. has verified the following courses toward the coursework requirements for eligibility to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst\u00ae examination. Applicants will need to meet additional requirements before they can be deemed eligible to take the examination (I.e., degree and experience).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times,serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certificate<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times,serif; font-size: 12pt;\">This 22-credit, six-course sequence is designed for candidates who have completed an acceptable graduate degree from an accredited university. The six-course sequence is a Verified Course Sequence (VCS) and meets the coursework requirement to be eligible for certification. The candidate will be required to complete additional requirements for certification. Visit http:\/\/www.bacb.com for more information<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times,serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Admission Requirements<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times,serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Applicants who wish to be admitted to the Certificate in ABA must submit the following materials to the Office of Graduate Admissions:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times,serif; font-size: 12pt;\">1. Application for admission to the Office of Graduate Admissions and a $50 application fee. Online Application (Application deadline for fall: March 1st \/ for spring: November 1st)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times,serif; font-size: 12pt;\">2. Applicants must hold a baccalaureate degree and master&#8217;s degree (completed an acceptable graduate program) from an accredited institution of higher education.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times,serif; font-size: 12pt;\">3. One official transcript mailed to the Office of Graduate Admissions from each college or university previously attended, including all earned grades and degree<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times,serif; font-size: 12pt;\">4. Applicant\u2019s cumulative grade point average (GPA) must be at least a 2.8 for admission into program.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times,serif; font-size: 12pt;\">5. Applicant must submit professional resume\/vitae.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times,serif; font-size: 12pt;\">6. Applicant must submit response to the following essay question:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times,serif; font-size: 12pt;\">In a single, double-spaced page please tell us why you believe you are a good \u201cfit\u201d for Western Connecticut State University\u2019s Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program. To evaluate your application, it will be helpful to have the following information such as why do you wish to pursue a career in ABA, what are your goals upon earning a degree, and what are some experiences that you feel prepare you for success in our program (e.g., relevant coursework, GPA, job, etc.)?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times,serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Transcripts, resume, and essay can be sent to: Western Connecticut State University, 181 White Street, Danbury, CT 06810 or sent as an attachment to Graduate Admissions<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times,serif;
