(BACB\u00ae), to prepare students for the national certification examinations sponsored by the BACB. All four courses are offered online and can be completed in one year to earn the certificate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;font-size: small\">\u00a0Two Online Behavior Analysis Certificates<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;font-size: small\">\u00a0<em>Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) Certificate<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;font-size: small\">This 16-credit, four-course sequence is designed for people who have completed an accredited bachelor\u2019s degree. Completion of the\u00a0four-course sequence and completion of 1,000 hours of supervised independent fieldwork in behavior analysis make the student eligible to take the BCaBA certification examination sponsored by the BACB\u00ae. Visit http:\/\/bacb.com for more information.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;font-size: small\">From the BACB.com website<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;font-size: small\">Eligibility to sit for the BCBA certification examination requires the completion of Sections A and B below and compliance with all other rules and requirements of the BACB.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;font-size: small\">A. Degree Requirement:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;font-size: small\">Possession of a minimum of a bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s degree that were conferred in behavior analysis or other natural science, education, human services, engineering, medicine, or a field related to behavior analysis and approved by the BACB from any of the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;font-size: small\">1. United States or Canadian institution of higher education fully or provisionally accredited by a regional, state, provincial, or national accrediting body or<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;font-size: small\">2. an institution of higher education located outside the United States or Canada that, at the time the applicant was enrolled and at the time the applicant graduated, maintained a standard of training equivalent to the standards of training of those institutions accredited in the United States.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;font-size: small\">B. Training and Experience Requirements<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;font-size: small\"><strong>Course work: <\/strong>The applicant must complete 225 classroom hours of graduate-level instruction (see Acceptable Course work below) in the following content areas and for the number of hours specified:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;font-size: small\">\u00a0Ethical considerations-15 hours<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;font-size: small\">\u00a0Definition\u00a0and characteristics and principles, processes and concepts-45 hours<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;font-size: small\">\u00a0Behavioral assessment and selecting intervention outcomes\u00a0and strategies-35 hours<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;font-size: small\">\u00a0Experimental evaluation of interventions-20 hours<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;font-size: small\">\u00a0Measurement of behavior and displaying\u00a0and interpreting behavioral data-20 hours<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;font-size: small\">\u00a0Behavioral change procedures and systems support-45 hours<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;font-size: small\">\u00a0Discretionary-45 hours<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;font-size: small\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;font-size: small\">Acceptable Course work: College or university courses in behavior analysis that are taken from an institution that meets the requirements specified in Section A.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;font-size: small\">Students are required to visit http:\/\/bacb.com to fully understand the requirements to sit for the examinations\u00a0 and become certified.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times;font-size:
