When can I start my fieldwork?

You may begin to accumulate your fieldwork hours the first day of EPY 641 provided you and your supervisor have registered and completed the online supervision and experience training modules.

You are responsible for finding an appropriate supervisor for your fieldwork.  If it is difficult to find a supervisor in your area, there are companies that provide online supervision.  The supervisor must not be a relative, subordinate, or employee during the experience period.  You may be asked to compensate your supervisor for his or her time.  This is common, acceptable and not considered an employer/employee relationship.  If you have difficult locating a supervisor, speak to your Professor and he/she will to his/her best to assist you.
