The Ancell School, as a public institution, provides an affordable and personalized learning environment for undergraduate and graduate students from Western Connecticut, the tri-state area,  and beyond The Ancell School promotes innovation, impact, and engagement in teaching that is informed by intellectual contributions and service to our community, businesses, and professional organizations.

The Ancell School of Business is composed of five departments with six majors.  The admission, academic probation and suspension standards are the same for all majors.

Information concerning the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program and its six majors is listed below.

Graduation Requirement

A 2.0 cumulative grade point average for all courses completed and for all courses within the major is required in order to receive a baccalaureate degree for a program offered by Ancell.

Note: Individual Schools or programs may have standards for probation and dismissal from the school or program which are higher than the University’s standards. A student can be on probation or be dismissed from a school or program and still be in good standing at the University.

Business Administration Curriculum

The six business programs are:

All business majors consist of five components:

General Education 40 semester hours
Business Core 28 semester hours
Major 21-36 semester hours
Electives 16-31 semester hours
Total 120 semester hours
