FALL 2024 ACADEMIC CALENDAR

 

AUGUST


August 23­­               Cross Registration and Senior Citizen Registration begins


August 26               Last day for full-time students to withdraw with 100% refund and Academic Year Begins for Faculty


August 27               CLASSES BEGIN (Full semester courses and 1st half 8-week term)


SEPTEMBER


September 2          Labor Day – NO CLASSES – UNIVERSITY CLOSED


September 3          Last day for full-time students to withdraw from the university with 90% refund and last day for part-time students to withdraw from courses

with 100% refund and Last day to Add/Drop courses


September 9        Last day for students to withdraw from the university with 60% refund (Full semester and

1st half 8-week term courses)


September 13        Student Independent Study forms & Faculty Development forms due to Registrar’s Office


September 17        Enrollment Reporting Census Date


September 23        Last day for students to withdraw from the university with 40% refund and part-time students to withdraw from courses with 40% refund (Full semester and 1st half 8-week term courses)

Last day to submit Pass/Fail Option forms and Audit forms to the Registrar’s Office


OCTOBER


October 2               Winter 2025 Intersession registration begins


October 7                Undergraduate incomplete submission deadline for Spring/Summer and Columbus Day – Classes in session (University

open)


October 21             CLASSES BEGIN (2nd 8-week term)


October 22             Midterm grades due.  May report Stopped Attending (SA)


October 27             Last day for 100% refund (2nd half 8-week courses)


NOVEMBER


November 1           Undergraduate Graduation Application Deadline for May Commencement


November 3          Last day for 60% refund (2nd half 8-week courses)


November 6        Spring registration begins (tentative).  See Registrar’s webpage for detailed information.

 

November 11        Veteran’s Day observed – Classes in Session. (University open)


November 15         Last Day to WITHDRAW from Classes


November 27         Thanksgiving Recess begins – NO CLASSES (University open)


Nov 28-Dec 1         Thanksgiving Recess Continued – NO CLASSES (UNIVERSITY CLOSED)


DECEMBER


December 2            Non-matriculated student registration begins (tentative)


December 7           Last Day of Classes (Full semester courses) and Graduate incomplete submission deadline for spring/summer 2023


December 9-15     Final Exam Week


December 18        Fall Final Grades Due by 4:30 pm
